Web & Brand for Closure Platform
Starcycle
OVERVIEW
Starcycle helps founders navigate the emotional and practical process of closing their companies. My task was to design a visual identity that balanced empathy with authority. I created a clean, flexible logo system and a calming blue-to-purple gradient palette that projects reassurance, trust, and modern credibility — clear enough for formal use yet gentle enough to support a sensitive moment.

Visual Language & Motion
The gradients are layered to resemble soft, cloudy transitions, creating a sense of depth and ease. This is supported by smooth, unhurried motion that makes the brand feel patient and reassuring, while also hinting at a professional, well-organised process.
From app icons to outdoor ads, the visuals carry the same balance: clean typography, generous spacing, and a colour system that works equally well in digital and physical applications. Each element is designed to reinforce the idea that Starcycle is both approachable and reliable.

The logo combines two simple yet meaningful elements. At its core is a stylized star — a nod to the company’s gradual integration of AI and its mission to automate the flows. The star represents precision, efficiency, and the technology driving the service. Surrounding it is a soft, gradient-wrapped ring that adds depth and movement. This circular form symbolises the natural business cycle and positions Starcycle as a trusted guide through every phase of that journey.

Translating Brand
into the Website
Once the visual identity was established, the focus shifted to the website — the primary touchpoint for founders seeking Starcycle’s services. Here, the goal was to deliver a smooth, stress-free experience that prioritises clarity and trust.
The homepage opens with a short, confident headline: “Shut down, fast.” It’s paired with a clean, structured layout and gradient-backed hero section that immediately communicates both urgency and calm.
