To make a heavy topic engaging, I turned the story into an interactive, arcade-style experience in Readymag. Using pixel-art visuals, side-scrolling transitions, and on-screen prompts, I guided readers through each chapter of the refugees’ journey—balancing a playful retro look with the gravity of the subject.
